Chance to win longest-running fantasy contest

You now have a good chance to win the world's longest-running contest in fantasy baseball.

More than four years ago, we posed a question about Mariano Rivera. Now that he and the Yankees are admitting that his shoulder still isn’t right, one or more of the multiple-choice options in this contest could come to pass.

To win the prize, you’d merely have to go to our Message Board, send us back a message with the correct choice and have your name drawn as the winner. It doesn’t matter when you enter, the winner would be chosen from among those with the correct answer.

A bigger current problem for the Yankees is their catching, which of course also affects their pitching and their offense.

Jose Molina (strained left quadriceps) joined Jorge Posada (hamstring injury) on the 15-day disabled list, taking away New York’s two most experienced catchers. That leaves the Bombers with good-catch, no-hit Kevin Cash and the untested Francisco Cervelli, whose claim to fame so far was being run over and injured at home plate. That was the first indication last spring that the Rays no longer feared the Yanks.
